A Metro-North Railroad train derailed in New York’s Bronx borough
early today, killing four and injuring 63, a spokesman for the New York City
fire department said.
The accident took place in the Riverdale section of
the Bronx, said New York City fire department spokesman Michael Parrella.
At least five of the seven passenger cars that were
being pushed by a diesel locomotive derailed, Aaron Donovan, a MTA spokesman,
said in a telephone interview. The crash happened in a curving section of track
near where the Hudson and Harlem rivers meet, Donovan said, saying none of the
derailed cars were submerged in water.
MY OPINION:
The problem is no one is demanding anything be done
about the broken infrastructure. Something happens, then it’s forgotten a week
later. The blackout in NYC several years ago should've prompted massive
improvements to the power grid, but nothing's been done. Same with bridges,
train tracks, roads & everything else. Even when people die, nothing's done.

up to this unbelievably sad news. Paul Walker, the actor who played undercover
agent Brian O'Conner in the Fast & Furious movies, is dead. He was killed
yesterday afternoon Saturday November 30th in a tragic car accident in
California. He had been shooting another instalment of the Fast & Furious
franchise in Atlanta but returned home to California for thanksgiving when the
accident occurred while on his way back from a charity event.
Paul Walker was a passenger in a Porsche Carrera
GT driven by his long-time friend, Roger Rodas, who lost control and crashed
into a light pole and tree in the community of Valencia, north of Los Angeles.
When police arrived at the scene of the accident, the car was in flames and the
two men inside the car were declared dead at the scene. Paul was just 40.

actor who appreciate so much, for his films and for his person, cause he’s so gorgeous.

all, I think “toxic friends” should not exist. Because those people sometimes
make us sad or angry.
The Toxic
friend is a person, maybe a friend who can make our life difficult. It’s a
person who won’t let you go home when you want to because they want you to solve
their personal problems. That kind of person is the one who have to avoid from
time to time, because they may be evil or a person who you love and now it’s a
person you have to get rid of your life.
In the
moment when you think: "that person is not good to my life” you must put boundaries
so you don’t make more mistakes with that person.

go to the therapist to solve that problem, because I think that must be a

Messi suffered a hamstring injury, specifically a torn muscle in his left
femoral biceps, on November 10 in the match away to Betis. The Medical Services

comedy film which I saw in my house last week, is called Dime con
cuántos in Spanish. The main character is a girl who were with 20 boys
in her life and her sister will get married so the main character, Ally, needs
a boy who comes with her to the wedding. She lost her job so now she's living
in a small flat. She wants to meet all the boys she was with because she
doesn't want 21 in her list of boys... so she's trying to be in love with all
the boys she was with.
Her neighbor, Colin, doesn't want to have a
relationship with a woman, he only wants a girl for a night. Ally wants Colin to help her to find all the boys she was with, and then they
start a strong friendship. She met all the boys but she can't fall in love with
them because she's in love with Colin.
She changes his life, now he wants a
relationship with a girl, with her... and she has a boy who loves her and
complements her. I really like to story, I'm in love with this movie righ now,
I think is one of my favorites romantic movies.
Humor is a
type of life. In my opinion, humor given us a different vision about the world,
because if you don’t have humor in your life I think you can’t be happy without
a little bit of humor.
First of
all, humor is related to happiness smiles or some emotions like this. Moreover
the people in general smile more than 100 times a day, that’s more that maybe
the people get angry one or three times a day. So that’s a percentage much
better, because they are calm and relaxed.
To sum up,
humor is necessary in our lives, because you can enjoy your days or you can be
better day by day.
I did two extras but I need three to have better mark so I'm going to talk a little about my next week.
I'm so stressed because I have a lot of important tests.
On monday, I have a business organization test (I don't know if it's the name in english of the subject) and I need a good mark because I flunked the last test.
On tuesday, history test. I'm so scary because it's a difficult test because are four chapters.
I also have a reading & listening test of english but I'm not scary about it. But on friday I have a greek test and it's really difficult, because it's about translation.
Well, batxillerat is more difficult than I thought but I want to pass the course and with a good mark because I want to study in the university of Barcelona.
Ok, I finished with all the entries for the first term, now I have to study hard for the tests. Wish me luck!

I think that Artur Mas has to say that if Catalonia do the referendum, most of the people in that place will say 'YES' at the two answers.

I’m
Maria Roig, I’m 16 yet, but in only one month I will be 17. I think I’m so
quiet, but only with the persons who I don’t usually speak, like the teachers
or somebody who only talks with me in the school; I think with my friends I’m
too chatty because I trust them, so I’m very active in the conversations or
whatever, but obviously I’m not a troublemaker person. I never cut classes,
because I think it’s disrespect to the teacher and for my mates.
One
of my hobbies is volleyball, because I have practised this sport since I was
young. This afternoon I’ve got one trainning and I’m the coach of the
“veterans” and “Sèniors B” team. I do that, because I like so much this sport,
if I don’t like I don’t do that.
Another
hobby which I love is stay in my house, with my friends, under the trees and
listens to music when we feel relaxed in the grass. That’s so good, because we
relaxed so much that afternoons of summer, because in winter it’s so cold and
we can’t go out of the house.

One day in my life when I go to school, like
all teenagers, nothing unusual. On Mondays, for example, I get up at seven
o’clock and just with only twenty minutes I get dress, I have breakfast, I
brush my teeth and I prepare the bag. Then my father takes me to the bus at
half past seven.
At
eight o’clock I start the classes until four and twenty-five because I have
lunch at school. When I get home, I do my homework and if I have time I watch
the TV or I connect to the computer. At nine o’clock I have lunch with my
parents and then we watch the TV together. At ten-thirty to eleven I read or I
connect to facebook. Finally, at eleven I go to sleep.
The friendship is begin of finding someone who understand you, thaths listens to you and thats helps you. It is that one does bilges in one day that not these of mood, only to meet your smile. lot. The timing of my presentation is about 8-9 minutes.

I’m looking to my audience so much time. I ocasionally read to my
notes, for havieng some idea to my presentation. I do some gestures with my
hads, because I’m so expressive, but not for capt the attention of teh
audience.

I think I organize my ideas in order of importance, because the things
if I don’t want or if I don’t think they are important I don’t say it. I
possibly use the discourse makers.

All the information if I explain in the presentation the audience
know, but I put in that information some things for capt the attention to my
audience like grafics or something.
Lenguage (19%)
I think my grammar is correct, I use the verbs with her order and in
her correct time. I prefer don’t use the same word in all teh presentation so
I change that thing, like shop I change to retail or something like that. I
like so much use the sentence linkers, because with that things is more
longer the presentation.
Pronunciation and Intonation (9%)
I know how to pronunce all my words, because if I don’t know some of
them I search it. If the audience don’t listen to me I chenge my tone of
voice because like this the people listen more to me. I speak correctly, I
think.

In that week, we had five days off, and that weel in figueres was a great festivity every day with rollercoaster and whatever, and in the another corner, at twelve o'clock at midnight was "Barraques" some bands of the country come here and play music for free. That party is called "barraques", because in the concert of the bands, at the laterals there are a lot of tents of clubs, like football, basketball, volleyball and a lot more, their job is to sell alcohol or sandwiches to the people over 18.
That party is the best party if the people wait more in the winter or in spring, because it's at the forest, and the people don't have ant money, they want to have a great night with their friends at that perfect party.
Some people start that party in 30 of april and finish at 5th of may, because that party never stops and it's a great show all the days with a good people.
The last Wednesday I want to play my sport. On that day Figueres organized a championship 4x4 of volleyball, and I asked my team to play in that championship, and 4 people said yes. I never played in a championship of volleyball, that was my first time, and I was so happy. We had to play 5 matches for groups, and then 3 to classificate. We only lost two matches and we were in the 3rd position. I was so happy, because in my first championship we ended 3rd it's amazing, because there were 25 teams! we had to be in the sports center at 9 o'clock in the morning to 7 o'clock at the afternoon. We ended up so tired, but so happy with that day. That day was a day of happiness, because we had a good time in the matches and in the another things.
The team of Barça also participated in the championship, and obiously they finished in the first position, they played verywell, I think they are the best team of mens in that country.
I like all the music is very important for
me, because I listen to music all the time, on the radio, TV, in the car, on my
mobile phone, in MP3 or whatever. When I listen to music, I'm better and I feel
relaxed. I like listening to music when I walk, practice my sport or other
sport, have a shower, I'm bored, I'm sad because music is always good for all
the things in our life.
All the days in my life I listen to music,
there's no day I don't listen to it. There are different types of music: Pop,
Rock, Dance, Electro, Punk, Country, Blues, Rap, Metal, Electronic, Flamenco,
Jazz, Reagge, Gospel, Hip Hop and a lot more. Some people prefer pop music or
rock, it's the more habitual music in the radio, but there are a lot more. I
like all types of music, I think all of these have something special on it, but
if I have to choose, I choose Pop, country, electrolatino and dance, because
there types of music motivate me or make me happy in a lot of moments.
Music inspires me in a lot of things,
possible when I was sad and I listen to the radio or something, some songs
express what I'm feeling, and I love that or when I don't want to think. I
listen to electro music with the maximum volume on. I forget everything, that's
really amazing, what the music can provoke!
