SUMMARY: 

A Metro-North Railroad train derailed in New York’s Bronx borough early today, killing four and injuring 63, a spokesman for the New York City fire department said.

The accident took place in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, said New York City fire department spokesman Michael Parrella.

At least five of the seven passenger cars that were being pushed by a diesel locomotive derailed, Aaron Donovan, a MTA spokesman, said in a telephone interview. The crash happened in a curving section of track near where the Hudson and Harlem rivers meet, Donovan said, saying none of the derailed cars were submerged in water.

MY OPINION:

The problem is no one is demanding anything be done about the broken infrastructure. Something happens, then it’s forgotten a week later. The blackout in NYC several years ago should've prompted massive improvements to the power grid, but nothing's been done. Same with bridges, train tracks, roads & everything else. Even when people die, nothing's done.

Woke up to this unbelievably sad news. Paul Walker, the actor who played undercover agent Brian O'Conner in the Fast & Furious movies, is dead. He was killed yesterday afternoon Saturday November 30th in a tragic car accident in California. He had been shooting another instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise in Atlanta but returned home to California for thanksgiving when the accident occurred while on his way back from a charity event.

Paul Walker was a passenger in a Porsche Carrera GT driven by his long-time friend, Roger Rodas, who lost control and crashed into a light pole and tree in the community of Valencia, north of Los Angeles. When police arrived at the scene of the accident, the car was in flames and the two men inside the car were declared dead at the scene. Paul was just 40.

MY OPINION:

That man was an actor who appreciate so much, for his films and for his person, cause he’s so gorgeous.

Die with 40 years it’s a terrible thing, because you cannot live your life what you want it to do. It’s a tragic accident, he only went in his car and unfortunately he crash with a light and a tree.

He was a perfect actor and maybe so pretty person, but he left us yesterday in the accident.

TOXIC FRIENDS

First of all, I think “toxic friends” should not exist. Because those people sometimes make us sad or angry.

The Toxic friend is a person, maybe a friend who can make our life difficult. It’s a person who won’t let you go home when you want to because they want you to solve their personal problems. That kind of person is the one who have to avoid from time to time, because they may be evil or a person who you love and now it’s a person you have to get rid of your life.

In the moment when you think: "that person is not good to my life” you must put boundaries so you don’t make more mistakes with that person.

I agree to go to the therapist to solve that problem, because I think that must be a possible solution.

Leo Messi suffered a hamstring injury, specifically a torn muscle in his left femoral biceps, on November 10 in the match away to Betis. The Medical Services predicted that he would be out of action for 6 to 8 weeks. It was also decided at the time that he’d start his recovery in Barcelona and fly out to Buenos Aires for the second phase.

MY OPINION:

Leo Messi it’s injured for a long time and always in the same muscle, in his left femoral biceps. That thing is because he don’t be recovered perfectly.

So I thing, for Leo it’s better go in Argentina or whatever, and do all the trainings possible for be recovered and do the 100 to 100 in all of the matches.

The Sao Paulo football stadium, which killed two people when a crane collapsed, is expected to have its opening delayed until at least February due to the rebuilding job that needs to take place. The £300 million site, which is set to stage the World Cup opener, is not expected to be ready until at best four months before the tournament begins.

MY OPINION:

I think that in the world cup in 2014 in Sao Paulo (Brasil), they want to go so quick, but if they go so quickly the results are not good, and that appreciates in the new.

That thing is terrible, but they want that for do the things so hard and quick, so It’s a bit of attention to them for do the things more slowly and good.

Lady Gaga was announced as the new face of Versace, something we saw coming after her love fest with Donatella last October. "Donatella is family to me and has always been supportive of my career," Gaga told E!'s Giuliana Rancic about her new gig.

Wearing the same lilac gown shown in her debut advertisement for the Italian house, Gaga arrived on the American Music Awards red carpet atop a man-made horse. MY OPINION:

Lady Gaga it’s a person who like make attention with him, and she do that a lot of times and every time she surprise all with a new horrible or fantastic thing.

This time she surprise us with a horrible horse at the AMA’s, but she has a lot of originality.

MY OPINION:

It is one thing to live your youth as most do with occasional behaviour like Miley's but this girl is walking the high wire every day as evidenced by her selfies and self-deprecating public displays. Sooner or later she will fall off this wire and it will not be pretty.

Madonna would tease her followers drip by drip with her shocking escapades over several years. Miley has revealed all within a few months and keeps trying to outperform herself. What next? Smoking crack on stage in front of the zombies who adore her.

WHAT'S YOUR NUMBER?

What's your number? is a romantic comedy film which I saw in my house last week, is called Dime con cuántos in Spanish. The main character is a girl who were with 20 boys in her life and her sister will get married so the main character, Ally, needs a boy who comes with her to the wedding. She lost her job so now she's living in a small flat. She wants to meet all the boys she was with because she doesn't want 21 in her list of boys... so she's trying to be in love with all the boys she was with.

Her neighbor, Colin, doesn't want to have a relationship with a woman, he only wants a girl for a night. Ally wants Colin to help her to find all the boys she was with, and then they start a strong friendship. She met all the boys but she can't fall in love with them because she's in love with Colin.

She changes his life, now he wants a relationship with a girl, with her... and she has a boy who loves her and complements her. I really like to story, I'm in love with this movie righ now, I think is one of my favorites romantic movies.

HUMOR DISCUSSION

Humor is a type of life. In my opinion, humor given us a different vision about the world, because if you don’t have humor in your life I think you can’t be happy without a little bit of humor.

First of all, humor is related to happiness smiles or some emotions like this. Moreover the people in general smile more than 100 times a day, that’s more that maybe the people get angry one or three times a day. So that’s a percentage much better, because they are calm and relaxed.

To sum up, humor is necessary in our lives, because you can enjoy your days or you can be better day by day.

STRESS BEFORE TESTS

I did two extras but I need three to have better mark so I'm going to talk a little about my next week.

I'm so stressed because I have a lot of important tests.

On monday, I have a business organization test (I don't know if it's the name in english of the subject) and I need a good mark because I flunked the last test.

On tuesday, history test. I'm so scary because it's a difficult test because are four chapters.

I also have a reading & listening test of english but I'm not scary about it. But on friday I have a greek test and it's really difficult, because it's about translation.

Well, batxillerat is more difficult than I thought but I want to pass the course and with a good mark because I want to study in the university of Barcelona.

Ok, I finished with all the entries for the first term, now I have to study hard for the tests. Wish me luck!

Good afternoon Lourdes!

I’m Maria Roig, I’m 16 yet, but in only one month I will be 17. I think I’m so quiet, but only with the persons who I don’t usually speak, like the teachers or somebody who only talks with me in the school; I think with my friends I’m too chatty because I trust them, so I’m very active in the conversations or whatever, but obviously I’m not a troublemaker person. I never cut classes, because I think it’s disrespect to the teacher and for my mates.

One of my hobbies is volleyball, because I have practised this sport since I was young. This afternoon I’ve got one trainning and I’m the coach of the “veterans” and “Sèniors B” team. I do that, because I like so much this sport, if I don’t like I don’t do that.

Another hobby which I love is stay in my house, with my friends, under the trees and listens to music when we feel relaxed in the grass. That’s so good, because we relaxed so much that afternoons of summer, because in winter it’s so cold and we can’t go out of the house.

That’s a little explication of my life in three paragraphs.
